Mother's Day

What a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! We had a great day being lazy and spending time with our Mom's. We are both so Thankful for all that our mom's do for us and our children! I am so Thankful to be a mom to two Beautiful Children! There is no better feeling than being a mommy! I feel so blessed!

Caroline was due on Mother's Day! and I am so glad she decided to come early!!

We love you!!

I am so behind on posting...but now I have it figured out so it shouldn't take me long to catch up. I switched from a PC to a Mac (which I love) however..it is different uploading my pictures and took me a while to figure out the least time consuming way since life with two takes up a lot more of my time!

Wow!!! I don't know where to start except....I feel so blessed to have these two healthy children in my life! They are so precious and even though it is taken a while to get adjusted to life with two I wouldn't trade it for the world! Caroline has only been here two short weeks but I tell you it feels like a month already! She is such a good baby.....already sleeping 5 hours at night, and Crawford is such a good Big Brother. He loves her so much...at least I think he does! :-) He is constantly kissing her and he sings to her when she cries. He does have his moments of jealousy but we are getting through that! It has been so sweet to see him kiss on her! I was never sure what I did with my free time before Crawford and now I wonder what I did with all of my free time before Caroline!

I have taken Crawford out of daycare for the time being and we have moved into a new house and now he has a new sister! He has so much change going on! Given everything he is going through he has done very well. Some days are better than others!

We are keeping ourselves busy by playing in the sprinkler and going to the park! Crawford loves to be outside! He loves to ride in his New Jeep his dad bought for him b/c the girls in the neighborhood all had faster jeeps and Crawford could not keep up. His favorite thing to do is play golf with Pop Pop and Daddy! He is actually pretty good. He loves to PHISH (as he would say) but not with a hook. He is scared of the fish but can throw his fishing line like a pro. (video to come)



Although some days he gets mad at me for holding Caroline others he loves and loves on me! Which just melts my heart! He sings Jesus loves me, and prays for everyone on the east coast...even his Jeep and Toys and all of his Cartoons. It's the sweetest thing. He loves to dance. He loves to sing the alphabet song over and over and talks all of the time now! He says the funniest things. He keeps us laughing!



Caroline is two weeks old today! She is doing great....sleeping...eating and pooping!!! That's about all right now! But it keeps us busy!!! Yesterday was her due date! But I am so glad she decided to come two weeks earlier...I don't think I could have stretched any bigger!
My water broke while at the playground with Crawford! I wasn't finished talking to a new neighbor so I stuck around for about 30 mins. Once I got up to the house and told Jacob I think it had broke...he started going crazy! :-) My mom had just left to drive back home after visiting for the weekend! I called her to let her know we were headed to the hospital and she had just pulled in her driveway! She got back in her car and made it just in time for Caroline's arrival! After 5 hours of labor and a lot of pain (no epiderial) Caroline arrived!


She loves sucking on her paci which Crawford really never did! She has a head full of black hair! That explains my horrible heart burn! I even was taking heart burn medicine when I was in labor!

I promise more updates more frequent! If anyone has tips for uploading pictures from the Mac faster please let me know. I used to use Windows live writer with my PC which was a major time savor!

Caroline Elizabeth has arrived!

Caroline Elizabeth was born Monday Morning at 12:51. She is just perfect and we are a Happy family of 4. It's hard to believe it! She weighed 7lbs and is 18.5 inches long. We are doing great! More pictures to come soon!!!!

Recent Purchases for Crawford

Crawford's room is also still a work in progress....It's looking much better but i am still in search of a few furniture pieces and need to hang picutres...it's never ending.

I had to order two...I picked out the fish one and Jacob picked the baseball one. There are so many to choose from!

And we are trying the Rainbows!!! So far we can keep one on but not both! Maybe by the end of Summer we will be able to keep both on!

Caroline's Nursery

Caroline's Nursery is still a work in progress, although we have gotten a lot done...Hopefully it will be finished soon so I can post pictures...I still need to do the windows and buy pictures. I am waiting to get my glider back from being covered. but At leaset the Crib is put together even though she won't use it for a while. Below are a few of my recent purchases for her.

Finally an update

Finally a quick moment to update this blog that I once updated every other day! I am not sure where the time goes but by the time Crawford is asleep I am worn out but that might have something to do with me being 9 months pregnant and due in less than 4 weeks now!!! I can hardly believe it! We just got Caroline's crib put together yesterday and the nursery is still a work in progress. Working full time, being pregnant and keeping up with a 2 1/2 year old leaves little time for anything else! I have so many pictures to post so hopefully in the next week I can do a few updates!

I have passed the number of weeks pregnant that I had Crawford. He was born at 35 weeks so now we are anxiously waiting to see when Caroline will arrive. Probably not until her due date but we are trying to prepare ourselves for earlier! I am starting to feel not so well and am getting NO sleep! This pregnancy has been a lot rougher than my first but I am just so Thankful that things have gone well and am anxious to see who Caroline looks like!

Well we have been in our new house for a little over a month and we love it! We are still not completely unpacked but we are getting their!!! Man we had a lot of stuff! Everyone has been asking me to post pictures so I wanted to post a few...but I am not done decorating so for tonight you only get to see a few! We love our neighborhood and have met some really nice people and a lot of kids! It's not exactly what Jacob is used to coming from growing up with no neighbors but I think he is adjusting well! :-) We do miss our old neighbors, they felt like family! I am sure we will always keep in touch!

Welcome to our New Home

Crawford still ask about his old home!! I would have never thought he would even think twice about it. He talks about it just about every day! Today he told me he built his old home with blocks at school.

This is Crawford's favorite part! The park right next door! It's a good and bad thing! He does not understand that we have to eventually leave...and it's hard to get it out of his mind when all he has to do is look out the window and see it! Needless to say we keep the blinds on this side of the house closed! :-) But it is very convenient and it has made it really easy to meet some other kids and parents in the neighborhood! Plus...we don't have a house right next to us just a park...so I am thinking we don't have to buy a swing set for our yard!
