A Weekend to Rest

Believe it or not I did not take any pictures this weekend. Crawford has a horrible cold and did not feel well all weekend so we just stayed in and relaxed. Since it rained all weekend, it was a great weekend for us all to get some rest! Crawford is 6 1/2 months old going on 1 fast. He is still not sitting up on his own but he is rocking back and forth on all four! I guess if he crawls before he walks he probably will never sit up. :-) He still does not have any teeth. I think I spot one coming in but he only lets me look and feel for a few seconds so I am not positive. He sure acts like something is bothering him so I think it has to be a tooth coming in.
Since I didn't take any pictures this weekend, below are some more cute Easter ones.

Crawford's First Easter

We had a wonderful Easter! I was off almost all week with Crawford. He had his 6 month checkup on Tuesday and did great. He weighs 16 lbs. 5 Ounces and is 26 Inches long. He is getting so big. I can't believe it. He also got his shots. He did great. He creid for 2 seconds and then he was back to smiling. He was in the best mood all afternoon. He woke up the next morning with a temp. of 104 and was pitiful all day. He never really cried he was just really puney. We went to the doctor and they tested his blood but he checked out just fine. By Thursday he was much better. We went back for a checkup and Crawford was back to his Happy self. He went shopping with me on Friday and I think he enjoyed every minute of it. I can tell he is going to be a great shopper. Crawford had Easter pictures made on Saturday, I will post some soon! They turned out great. We had everyone over to our house on Sunday for Easter lunch. It was so nice to have everyone over. We had a great time. The Easter Bunny brought Crawford all kinds of fun toys. Between Mimi, Grammy and Papa, Jacob and I and the Easter Bunny, Crawford racked up with toys. I have included some pictures below.

1/2 of a year old!!!

Crawford is now 6 Months old! I say this over and over but it is so hard to believe he is growing so fast. Someone once told me the days go by slow but the years go by fast. It's hard to believe in 6 short months he will be one. He is so much fun now! He had the best personality and is so Happy! We got Crawford a Wagon and he went for his first ride on Saturday. I think he liked it, but he is just like his daddy when it comes to taking pictures. Below are some pictures from this weekend.

Crawford Talking himself to sleep

Crawford talks himself to sleep everynight. I recorded him tonight. You cannot see anything on the video b/c the lights are out but you can hear him.

Church Pictures

We had church pictures last week. That was fun! Not really! It was hard getting Crawford to look at the camera when we were behind him. The Camara guy did not really make Crawford laugh, so I was trying to. In all the pictures either Crawford looks good, or Jacob and I do but there was not a good one of the 3 of us. We had to choose one. And then they talked us in to buying more, 5 pictures later (yes only 5) and we had spent over 100.00 for pictures we did not even like! They make you feel like you are getting such a deal! We are SUCKERS!!! Jacob said I take better pictures than they did. See below for some pictures of Crawford last week.

A Busy Week

This past week was a very busy week. Crawford started daycare at Village Kids! It was exhausting for Crawford and us but I think he enjoyed it. He did not take more than an hour nap each day but he was still very Happy when we picked him up. He would fall asleep the minute we got in the car but as soon as we got home he was ready to tell us all about it. He would babble and babble like he had something really important to tell us. I think he probably did not sleep because he did not want to miss a thing. He is just like his mommy! There are 3 girls in his class and 1 boy. Crawford is the oldest. His teachers think he is going to be the ring leader. We really like his teachers and are glad he is getting the chance to interact with other children. He loves staring at them. It's so sweet. I went to visit him on my lunch break a few days last week. It's nice being so close to him.

He is growing so fast. He has now ate almost every friut and veggie from the stage one food. I gave him all veggies first, now that he has had fruit he would rather not have some of the veggies. He is almost rolling over from his back to his Tummy. He has masterd from his tummy to his back. He also found his feet and like everything else, he likes to suck on them. I have not seen any teeth coming in. He only gives me about a 1/2 second to look! Crawford is almost sitting up. He still needs support but it will not be long and he will be sitting on is own.

Last week Grammy and Papa and Uncle Ryan and Casey came to grill out with us. We had a great visit. Grammy and Papa miss Crawford now that he is at Village Kids. Jacob fixed us burgers. He is getting good at grilling. Finally!! :-)

Mimi came and spent the night with us on Saturday night. We were supposed to go to Hickory for the night but after we got the car all loaded with the million things you have to take with you for just one night we decided it might be easier if she came here and of course that was fine with her. She had a great visit. Mimi bought Crawford a Jummping swing and he loved it. We made Crawford an outfit, she is teaching me to sew. Let's just say, it's harder than I thought but I am not going to give up. Mom could not believe how much Crawford had grown in just the short time since she had seen him. Here are a few pictures from last week of Crawford at 5 1/2 months.
