Pumpkin Carving
Tonight we carved our Pumpkins! Crawford helped remove the insides with Jacob and I each carved a pumpkin. It’s a lot hard to carve those pumpkins than it looks! Jacob thought that I was going to hurt myself but I managed to get through it injury free! I am not sure what Crawford thought of it all. He really didn’t like it when his hands got messy! When we put the candles in and turned the lights off he instantly started trying to blow them out! Below are a few pictures!
Happy Halloween!

A little Update
I have been a little behind in blogging due to the two year old that keeps me on my toes and the baby inside me that keeps me tired! Things seem to be so busy right now! We are on to the 2nd trimester and I hoping with that brings an end to headaches and sickness! My stomach is growing by the day! Wow! The 2nd one sure does show a lot faster! I remember with Crawford I could not get into Maternity Clothes fast enough…now I cannot believe how fast I am needing them! Not complaining! I am so Thankful for the little baby growing inside me that I can deal with all that comes with it!
Don’t forget to vote for what you think we are having! We have decided on names! We should find out in December what we are having. Our girls name is Caroline Elizabeth and Boys name is Coltin Gray! We are so excited and pray that everything continues to go great with the pregnancy.
I asked Crawford this morning if he wanted a baby brother or sister this morning and he said “NO”. I think he will change his mind when he understands a little more!
He is 25 Months old this month and continues to keep us laughing! Saying the funniest things and keeping us on our toes! I love this age! Everyday is so rewarding! At times trying but much more rewarding than trying!
More updates to come soon! Happy Halloween!
XOXO

First Wake Forest Game
We took Crawford to his first Wake forest game last Saturday against Maryland and he did great! He lasted to half time which we thought was great considering we decided to sit in the stands instead of on the hill. I figured Crawford would probably not last the 5 mins, be he did great! He cheered and clapped and seemed to enjoy it!
Throwing a little football (notice it’s a Carolina football)
Enjoying another snack

Pumpkin Painting
With all of the rain we have had we have been full of energy locked inside the house! It feels like it has been raining forever!!! Crawford loves being outside and it’s hard to keep him entertained inside for very long! So we decided to take him outside to paint…the only problem…I didn’t think we would EVER get him back inside!!! We had to do a lot of bribing and even still there was crying involved once we finally did come inside!
Fair
We went to the fair a few weeks ago! Crawford had a great time enjoying the food, animals and a few rides. I swore I was not going to let him ride the rides for fear of all the germs and with no flu shot I didn’t want to risk getting germs. However once Crawford saw the rides….it was ride or witness the biggest melt down ever! So we loaded him up with Hand Sanitizer after every ride! Luckily he didn’t get sick and it’s 2 weeks later!
Crawford enjoying a Corn Dog! He loved it! I was surprised because he is so picky!
A pony ride with Daddy!
and of course the big slide that we had to go down over and over!
Family picture in front of some really big horses…too bad you can’t see them in the picture because they were huge!

May 2010 Crawford will be a Big Brother!
**Update** After reading what I typed last night I noticed I said below about Crawford looks like he is Happy to have a baby brother on the way! Not sure why I typed that b/c we have no idea and will not know until December! Guess I was tired!!! :-)***
We are so excited to share the news that Crawford will be a Big Brother in May! We had our first ultra sound today and it was nice to see the baby and hear the heart beat! Man was it beating fast!!! More details about everything to come soon but for now I must go to bed! Man I can already tell being a mom of two is way different! I am so tired!!!!!
Yay! I am going to be a Big Brother! (Actually we were throwing grass to distract him but it sure does look like he is Happy to have a baby brother on the way)!!

We love Fall!
I love fall and was so excited to take Crawford to the pumpkin patch on Saturday morning. We met Meredith and Emily Grace. We had a great time watching them run around in amazement of all of the pumpkins! I plan on visiting the pumpkin patch several more times before Halloween! I just love it there and so does Crawford! What a great place to go burn some of that 2 year old energy he has!!
Notice his hand (I love you sign). I don’t think he did this on purpose! I didn’t even realize he did it until I was looking through my pictures! When we first got to the pumpkin patch I sat him on a pumpkin and said say cheese. Next thing I knew he was running to every pumpkin and looking at me waiting for me to take a picture! He is so funny!
Hi Mommy!

After Crawford’s nap we went to Grammy actually now it is Nana and Pop Pop’s house to see the neigh’s! Crawford has decided he wants to call Jacob’s mom Nana which works for Nancy, she is just happy he is calling her! :-), I will try to capture it on video this week!
Crawford looking at the horses or neigh as he calls them.
Feeding them! This is one of Crawford’s favorite things to do at Nana and Pop Pop’s house!
It’s hard to believe that up until a few weeks ago Crawford was so afraid of his rocking horse that made noises and now he is standing up close to these horses and is not one bit scared! He is feeding Jacob’s horse in the picture below.
Look for more updates this week! I have lots of pictures! We went to the fair tonight and I took a lot of other pictures over the weekend. Hope to have them all up by Wednesday!
Oh Yeah….Crawford is adjusting well to the big boy bed! Well actually right now it’s just a mattress until we get a bed set up! He is sleeping through the night, still waking up early in the morning but not in the middle of the night! He was not sad to see the crib go! He told it bye as we carried it out of his room! Stay tuned for more updates this week!
